Japan set to deploy drone fighter planes from 2004 2003-09-21 / Associated Press /Japan's Defense Agency plans next year to develop small, unmanned spy planes similar to those used by the United States in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, a major newspaper reported yesterday.
The agency will budget about 9 billion yen (US$78 million) over five years, and hopes to deploy its fleet of aircraft as early as 2009, the national Asahi newspaper said.
Agency officials, who point to the U.S. military's lead in relying on high-tech advancements, are also considering spending to link Japanese fighter jets to a U.S.-developed satellite-guided bombing system beginning next year, the daily said.
Japan has already tested an early prototype unmanned drone modeled on the U.S.-made F-15 fighter jet, a project it began researching in the mid-1990s. The planes would be equipped with high-resolution cameras to conduct surveillance of suspicious ships off Japan's coast, and may even be armed, according to the report.
Crab vs. Pipe
I couldn't get this file until now, lots of buzz but no mirrors that I could find. But finally I get to see this:
This is a video taken in 6000 feet of water. An undersea robot is sawing a 3mm wide slit (1/10th of an inch ... remember that width) in a pipeline. The pressure inside the pipeline is 0 psig, while the pressure outside is 2700 psi, or 1.3 tons per square inch. Then a crab comes along....
Here's a snap, and the file mirrored.

Why I hate Rockwell...I needed this info 10 minutes ago, and spent that time waiting for the login screen to authenticate me.

What kills me is that the Japanese version of the knowledge base doesn't require a login.
LIBNODAVE, a free communication library for Simatic S7 PLCs
The PLCs of the S7-300 and S7-400 family have a so called MPI (multipoint) interface. This interface is mainly used to program the device, but can also be used to read and write data from and to the PLC. The physical layer of the MPI interface is a two wire line operated with differential voltage like RS422 or RS485. [...]You will allways need an adapter from Siemens or another vendor. These adapters are "intelligent" devices built around some microprocessor. They talk MPI to the PLC and something else to your PC. The rest of this document is about this "something else".
"HandleLegacyRSCommon" or HandleLegacyRSCommon will pop up as an error
Also may mention "internal error 2735"
Try disabling your antivirus software, or reinstall the MSI package:
First, check if any components are left by running the MSI cleaner...
OFF2000: Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
If that doesn't solve the install, try installing the MSI package again:
