MS Press has a companion book for the test, and it includes a sample test.

Lynda.com has a newer version of Word 2007 training;
Word 2007 Essential Training which is needed because Microsoft changed the user interface, but the underlying concepts are the same as far as working with documents.

If you're working with documents, you should be able to touch type and here is a site recommended as a comprehensive touch typing tutor on the internet. It is free to use and signup.

If you took the training for word, you could test for the cert:
Microsoft has their own certification program, Microsoft Office Specialist certification program which is going to be a little more in depth than the video tutorial, there are books, boot camps etc. Basically it boils down to knowing the subject matter and sitting for a test, (2 hours i think) at a testing center, the test is around $100 but if you pass you are Microsoft certified on the application and the American Council on Education (ACE) has issued a one-semester-hour college credit recommendation for each Microsoft Office Specialist certification.
