Package 'Crypt-DES' not found. activestate error windows xp

working with perl and Tk, and I need the Net::SNMP module and I run into this error:
Package 'Crypt-DES' not found.
The fix is to install DES from a repository that contains it:
Open up ppm and type in:



  • rep add Canada http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/cgi-bin/ppmserver?urn:/PPMServer58

    • and hit enter. You've just added a new repository to PPM. Now go on and type in:

  • install Crypt-DES
