Pennsylvania Road Hazards: Comprehensive Insurance Covers Deer

| | TrackBacks (0)

Last night while driving home after work, a buck deer bolted across the road.
He appeared from the bushes running at full speed, and I hit him before I could brake to a stop. I was able to slow enough he did not roll up the hood into the windshield. For that I'm thankful. A cracked windshield would have made driving difficult.

I now have to get my insurance company to look at my automobile.

The car sustained a cracked grill on the front and a warped hood.
The passenger side mirror was retracted but seems OK. I didn't realize they folded back.

Here's a few pics for those interested in what front end damage looks like on a Scion xA
