If you believe content should be separated from presentation, provide a full feed:

Generating full text RSS feeds from Movable Type The default RSS and RDF templates from Movable Type create feeds that don't include the full text of the post. This has been annoying me for some time now, and I decided to do something about it.

I waffled and now provide full feed by default.
