Mozilla Firebird: Extensions
Very nice organized list of all the extensions you can plugin into the Mozilla Firebird browser.

Extensions are small programs (or plug-ins) that add new functionality to Mozilla Firebird. It can be anything from a toolbar button to a completely new feature, such as mouse gestures. The great thing about extensions is that they allow Mozilla Firebird to stay small and unbloated. Anyone who requires more features can download the appropriate extension. You can even create your own extensions. Information about that will available in the future.

You can use the mplayer netscape plugin to play most of those video formats in Firebird. It doesn't work perfectly (there are sometimes cropping issues) but it gets the job done.

I am trying to find extensions and plugins for common files such as: *.mov, *.avi, *.swf, *.wmv, *.sid, etc.

Although there are lots of sites that talk about plugins for Firebird Mozilla, I can find none that are available for Linux or Microsoft operating systems. I can find some for Netscape however, but they do not install properly for Firebird.

Any help??
