Hacking Bluetooth Use Redfang to Root Out Silent Nodes
Forgot where I read this, used Feedster to track this down today. I see that Anil John over on @CyberForge sums it up pretty well
Take for example, the Compaq iPaq, that is set to share out its entire storage subsystem to anyone who knows the Bluetooth address.Yikes!
Redfang - The Bluetooth Hunter: @stake | Research | Information Gathering Tools
Redfang is a small proof-of-concept application that finds non-discovereable Bluetooth devices by brute forcing the last six bytes of the device's Bluetooth address and doing a read_remote_name().
