Disturbing SARS tidbit, this thing is proving a tough criter, surving longer than commonly thought possible in the external environment.

495 new cases since last WHO update
217 deaths (included in cumulative)
1873 recovered

"... a CDC expert as saying that the virus can remain potent on objects much longer than previously thought: "....in their studies, they found that you could still culture viable virus from surfaces after as much as 24 hours, which is longer than we normally expect viruses to be able to survive in the environment."

This is a bit ironic. Earlier when chinese citizen wasn't aloud to cross their borders the goverment cover-up wouldn't be noticed by the western economy, even less affected.

Now with a more open society but still with a bunch of commuz in leading positions this is certainly a huge problem.....
