I saw this on CodeCon 2.0: Day One lots of good stuff.

CryptoPy is a pure python implmentation of cryptographic algorithms and demonstartion applications. The algorithms are written to be portable in Python to any implementation of Python 2.x or greater.

This is a pure Python implementation of various cryptographic algorithms. The goal of the package is to provide human readable code for the algorithms that closely matches the style and content of the technicla specifications. The is intended as a reference implementation and is likely much slower than speed optimized versions.
