nVidia nForce2 boards and GNU/Linux
hmmm. The AMD MPX for dualies still looks good to me. Remember the AMD dual boards will run durons if you're pinching pennies.

GNU/Linux on Nforce2-Boards
Some notes and patches for using GNU/Linux on Asus A7N8X Deluxe Board [...]
I have recently brought my existing GNU/Linux installation to a new board based on nVidia's Nforce2-Chipset. Making optimal use of it proved to be tricky, and I would like to share some notes and patches on that.
The chipset is quite new, and nVidia is not very forthcoming with hardware specs. There is a lot of hardware on this board. Not all of this works, and not much out of the box. Right now, you'll have to apply kernel patches from various sources. Most patches are as easy as adding PCI Ids. Expect regular support in the kernel soon.
