GNU/Linux Test Tool Matrix
I've pointed to some of these before, this is a very good list of the many utilities and suites out there for testing, benchmarking and generally all around loading down your machine until it screams! (or not) :)

GNU/Linux Test Tools

The purpose of the GNU/Linux Test Tools Table is to provide the open-source community with a comprehensive list of tools commonly used for testing GNU/Linux. Our hope is that the community will embrace and contribute to this list making it a valuable addition to the LTP.
