OutBlog - A page Tool Powered By Outlook and Exchange Server
Matt points out an interesting project: If you're running in a Microsoft shop, the following package will allow you to deploy functioning page capability right from your outlook clients...

OutBlog is an application which allows you to use the tools you already know (Outlook and Exchange Server) to publish a weblog. You therefore get access to all the great features of these applications: embedding images in posts, spellchecking, synchronization (offline editing), easy editing and lots more.

On the other hand, OutBlog is quite likely the most expensive page tool ever. Why? Simply because it depends on Outlook and Exchange Server - so, even though OutBlog is free (covered by the GPL Version 2), you will have to acquire the correct licenses for Outlook and Exchange. So depending on whether you already use them or not, OutBlog is either for free or comes at quite a heavy price (that is, a heavy price for a page tool). Have fun.

Alternatives could include bzero, Blosxum or GLUE, which is interesting because it returns the focus to interpersonal collaboration, via its wiki heritage. And of course none of the alternatives require Exchange!

The necessity of Exchange Server for OutBlog is prohibitive. Its a shame because making use of Outlook is great for people who are "set in their ways," few of whom seem to have Exchange licenses. ;)
