Athlon Price Moves

I just checked TCWO, and see that the XP 2400+ fell $18 to $177...

XP 2600+ $294
XP 2400+ $177
XP 2200+ $139
XP 2100+ $90
XP 2000+ $78
XP 1900+ $73
XP 1800+ $64

The Durons are cheap!

Duron 1.3GHz $39
Duron 1.2GHz $34
Duron 1.1GHz $30
Duron 950MHz $27

Although the XP 1800+ at $64 is less than I paid for my Duron 950 a year ago.

If I needed to upgrade an existing system, I'd go for the XP's unless processing power was not critical.

I've read the remaining Duron's will be liquidated through some motherboard manufacturers via solder mount on the PCB motherboards to cut costs.
