Nvidia claims 35% share of K7-platform

My next board will be an Nforce2.

Considering the size of the desktop PC market, Nvidia chose to start its core logic chipset business from the desktop line and has gradually seen results in the past few quarters. However, the company’s clientele concentrates mostly on major OEM vendors like Sony and Compaq Computer, as its nForce chipsets are still regarded as expensive in the cost-conscious clone market.
