Error Message Technote: RecipePro download produces

Why I hate Rockwell...I needed this info 10 minutes ago, and spent that time waiting for the login screen to authenticate me.

Not a critical error...but extremely aggravating.

What kills me is that the Japanese version of the knowledge base doesn't require a login.

Problem: When a screen containing the RecipePro ActiveX control is displayed, the following spurious errors occur in the Activity Bar:
Cause: Microsoft Progress Bar Control version 5.0 (SP2): Newer ActiveX Control Type library version 1.3 used instead of 1.2 Cause: RSNumericEdit.NumericEdit: Newer file used RecipePro ActiveX Runtime Control: Newer ActiveX control type library version 6 referenced by PROGID used instead of 3. Different ActiveX Control loaded for display CompletedQS than was saved. This has been seen in the RecipePro sample project running under RSView 6.20.49. The errors do not prevent the ActiveX control from working properly. Cause: RSView 6.20.49 issues those messages if it notices a newer version of the ActiveX control than what was saved with the project.

This has been seen in the RecipePro sample project running under RSView 6.20.49. The errors do not prevent the ActiveX control from working properly.

Cause:
RSView 6.20.49 issues those messages if it notices a newer version of the ActiveX control than what was saved with the project.

Solution:
Save the screen in version 6.20.49. The next time the screen is displayed, the errors should not appear.
